Well today has been nice. We decided since Elder Packer was leaving and we would need to be picking up Elder Erramouspe later on that we would take a nice relaxing Pday (also the last couple Pdays have been action packed and crazy so we have been needing to just slow down a little. But the weird thing is that it seems to go by way faster when you take a relaxing pday, I dont know why.)
So this last week was one of the faster Week 6s that I have had. Usually building up to calls gets a little slower because of the nervous/excited feelings that come, like right before Christmas.
So the highlights of the week included soccer on Tuesday; there we had a neighborhood kid who had been coming for a while tell us that he wanted to become Mormon. It was awesome because he is an awesome kid and his dad already loves the atmosphere that there is at soccer! He ended up coming to a music night at a member's house on Thursday night and then he really wanted to come to church but I think because he is still a minor (like 15 or 16) there was a little mix up on if he should come without his parents. In any case, his parents already like us and I think we will try and start teaching his family altogether and that will make the whole situation a lot easier! He is great and every time for soccer he brings everyone cookies! ;) Also his dad said he loves that we do soccer because it gets him up in the morning for summer!

On Thursday night we were not able to go to the music night because we instead got invited to go over to Donna's house; she is a professional cook and lives right outside of Monaco. She made some really really good food and also had her non-member friend over to eat with us! She is English and apparently cooks for lots of people in high places... (her grandmother supposedly cooked for the Queen of England..) But I still like your cooking better Mom.
I love the gospel. It is so simple. We were teaching Roland again and he had friends tell him all sorts of nonsense and it was really just a testimony of how much the Gospel should make sense and when we understand it simply, we can't be confused. Thankfully we handled all the problems that his friends had about our church and got to his real underlying questions that are holding him back, Is God really there? If yes, does he have a church? and if yes, which one? It was a really great RDV and we got to see so much where he really is at! So we are going to try and start over with him and really help him understand the Plan of Salvation, the Gospel of Christ, and then the Restoration. It is so simple and I love it. But it is very very hard when not every investigator has been repeating those three subject over and over for the past twenty years! I just wish every person in the world could teach their child A Child's Prayer. I know that there would have been no way for me to make it this far if I had never learned that song because I wouldn't understand the formula that when we have a question we get on our knees and pray.
I love you so much and je vous souhaite une bonne semaine! (I wish you a good week!)
