Well this week was absolutely crazy. Mon, Tues, Wed were spent in Lyon and on a train. On the way there we had a 2 hour lay over and so Elder Davis played piano for like 2 hours for all the people! It was amazing! He did it two other times while waiting in the Lyon gare (train station) on the way back. People were so SPARKed!
We got back Wednesday night and prepared for zone training, Then Thurs we hopped on the train to Antibes (very beautiful!!)
and had zone training, which went very well and we even got to skype in with Corsica so they could participate. We didn't really explain many new things but just talked about how we can increase in each activity that we are currently doing by adding an !.
We started off with an analogy about pole vaulting. We took the sport and broke it down into all the little things that are necessary and all the tools and techniques that are useful. We then talked about the things because of which someone does not succeed in Pole vaulting. 1) We have a fear, doubt, or lack of confidence (in ourselves, the methods) 2) We are lacking technique, or the right tools (too big of a pole, track spikes, a good step) and 3) a lack of energy (bad preparation, no energy bars). I really like that because I felt that it takes all 3 of these things in order to succeed as a missionary. As we use the tools we have been given, put our trust in the Lord (have faith) then put all the energy that we can into our efforts the Lord will bless us!
President and Sister Roney talked about two words, Strive and Beseech. Both of these words are words that are more energetic. We should not just ask the Lord in prayer for the things that we need but should beseech him. And we should not just try to be like Jesus, but strive to be like Jesus.

After zone training, we headed out and I went and did another exchange in Toulon. It was great to be there again and before we went back to Nice on Friday, my favorite member Fr. Monier took us out for lunch to McDonald's and it was so great to see him!
Saturday was a great day but it was very fast and Sunday we went out of ville with a member family to eat lunch and so it went by fast too.

I am not really sure how Nice is doing but I hope to work here a little more this week.
I know that Christ lives. I have been reading Jesus the Christ and am almost done. I was able to read about his sacrifice on the cross this week and I just loved it. The best part was when a couple young Muslim kids approached us one night and I got to testify of the reality of the Savior and that because of the Book of Mormon we can know that he lives and that today there is a living representative. I hope to finish this week and can start on my next project!
Thanks so much for everything!
I love you!!!
